Hi, I’m John. I’m a West Yorkshire wedding photographer with a passion for capturing the real, unscripted moments that make a wedding day special. Currently living in Halifax with my wife Sarah and our three kids, I’ve spent the last decade perfecting a documentary wedding photography style that is all about the people, not the poses.

My path to photography wasn't a straight line. Before I spent my Saturdays at Yorkshire wedding venues, I spent 18 years as a chef and served as a Lance Corporal in the Household Cavalry. Those years taught me how to stay calm under pressure and blend into the background—skills that are essential for a relaxed wedding photographer.

I’m a very chilled guy (despite what my 'serious' profile photo might suggest!). My main goal is to make sure you feel entirely yourself. Whether you’re planning a large celebration in Leeds or an intimate ceremony in the Yorkshire Dales, I’m there to be a positive addition to your day.
